Today in Design and Technology we have been completing our fruit project!
Last week we designed a fruit salad or a fruit kebab.  We made a list of the fruits we would use and the utensils that we would need.
Today we made our final products!  We chose our fruit, washed and peeled it and then used a sharp knife to cut it up.  We used a 'bridge' grip to cut our fruit safely.
Have a look at some of the photos to show some of our final products, the making and the eating!

In Science we have been learning about materials.  Over the last couple of weeks our challenge has been to design a new waterproof coat for Mr Grinling.
We discovered that cotton wool was definitely not a good choice and that tin foil was just a bit too fragile!  Some of us made super predictions and some of us learnt why our predictions didn't work as well as we had hoped!
Have a look at some of us investigating below!
