Our P.E lesson is on a Tuesday but kit needs to always be in school.  Please ensure all kit if named, we have already had confusion with clothes with no name in them.  Only small stud earrings please.  Children are expected to get themselves unchanged for P.E and then dressed again afterwards.  Please help them to perfect these skills at home.

Attendance and Punctuality
The school day starts at 8:55am.  The cloakroom door will be locked at 9:00am.  If you arrive after this time, please go to the school office to sign your child in.  The school day ends at 3:20pm.  Doors will be locked at 3:25pm.  Please go to the office to collect your child if you are late.  Please phone to inform the office if you have been delayed.  Good attendance will be rewarded on a weekly basis using our stamper charts!

Investors in Pupils

Year One worked so hard on their 'Investors' targets last half term. As a reward some of the children were able to have a dip in Mrs Kelly's grab box for a treat.
New targets are now being set for this final term. Keep up the hard work Year One and you will have coloured in your spiders in no time at all!!

Food Tasting

We have really enjoyed following Egbert on his travels around the world. When he was in Italy he sent us some traditional food to try. It was delicious!
We tried pasta, ciabatta, amaretti biscuits, mozzarella and gnocchi.

Attenborough Trip

On June 25th it's all aboard the coach for our trip to Attenborough Nature Reserve.  This is a wonderful opportunity for the children to experience a wide varitey of nature in its natural habitiat and take part in a range of practical, fun activities.  All children will need to wear full school uniform but they should have suitable shoes for outdoor work, especially as it can be muddy in areas of the reserve.  As with all trips we are always keen for you to join us so if you would like to come with us don't forget to let your child's teacher know as soon as possible.

Homework Project

Mrs Usher and I have been so impressed with the children's homework projects so far this year and I know Mrs Bowyer is really excited to see the wonderful work they can produce in our nect project.

We have been receiving letters from an old friend called Egbert who is travelling all over the world and we're having great fun finding out about the countries he has been visiting.  This half term we would like the children to use the internet, talk to family members, visit a library or use travel brochures to learn about another country and design a poster to teach the rest of the class all about it - look out for more details on the homwork letter.
